As we all know there is no other actor who will ever top what Jon pertwee contributed towards the Worzel phenomena, but he also worked tirelessley to promote Worzel in a variety of mediums. Many of you have mailed me telling me how you met Jon and, sometimes, Una, at a variety of public events. From the the Liverpool Garden Festival to opening restaurants and housing developments. All have spoken of Jon's commitment to remain in character and to never disappoint, right up to the end of his life. At present I have no real solid record of all of Jon's appearances but I have been kindly sent a lot of promotional material relating to them by many of you, even more have sent me their memories of the happiness which Jon and Worzel brought into their lives.
